yep. same here. we needed to know kinetics, the H-H equation, pkas and thermodynamics. all that chem 2 stuff.

some to the topics that you will see are:

1) Benzene reactions : for learning the synthesis of benzene derived amino acids such as phenylalanine and tyrosine

2) The Hell-Volhard-Zelinski reaction: again to synthesize amino acids from carboxyl acids

3) Regular organic reactions...such as substiution, addition, hydrolysis, condensation, etc
