Hi everyone,
I was just wondering about the biochemistry prereq that most optometry schools recommend or require. Can i take an "elementary" biochem course or do i have to take the harder one that the chemistry majors take? Also, does they want us to take a lab with it?
Just one more thing. Does anyone know where I can find OAT prep books or materials? Thanks a lot

I would check with the different schools that you're interested in about biochem. I know that for UHCO they require the junior level biochem, but they don't require the lab.
As for the OAT material, I would try to order the Lippincott (sp?) OAT book of a barnes & noble website. A lot of people also use the MCAT books for their science prep since most people say that they Lippincott book is easier than the actual OAT.
Another option is to hang around this forum long enough, and eventually people will let you know that they want to sell their old OAT materials, that's what I did:)
