So hagfish and lamprey are part of agnatha because hagfish and lamprey lack a jaw. So they aren't considered gnathostomes right? My notes aren't clear on this topic.

Gnatha means jaw I think. So Agnatha means without a jaw. It's helpful to think about the words. Usually starting with "a" means without (this is just a generalization)
