I'm a bio major, but interested in neuroscience (psychology) major. To be successful in pharmacy school, should I be a science major and take all the upper level science classes like histology, genetics, cell molecular, etc? or can i still do well with the pre-reqs down like Bio, chem, ochem, physics, biochem, microbio? If i transfer over to neuroscience, the science classes i took does give credit towards the major as well which is a plus. The only concern is if i could do well in pharmacy school without having taken the specific biology classes

Many people have done well without taking many upper level Bio courses. Will they help you: possibly. Will you survive without them: Yes.
Sould you take them if your interested in them: Absolutely yes.

I have a BA in psych and never took upper level bio courses. Graduated magna cum laude from pharm school.
