i'm starting rotations soon and I have heard mixed reviews on the blueprints ...although the OB-GYN one is supposed to be good.

do most people use this series to get thru the shelf exams and step2? and is the new 2002 edition better than the current edition [cause it definitely costs a heck of a lot more]

any input would be great!

I'm more of an NMS Appleton and Lange fan, myself. I like doing practice questions. I think it's a good way to learn.

If there's down time, whatever rotation you're in, I'd also recommend pulling up a big textbook and scan through a few chapters while you're waiting for stuff to happen. Books with pictures are bonus points.

That's basically all I did for third year rotations, and I did just fine. Blueprints (except maybe the OB one) is just not enough info, IMO.
