I'm having a rotation with the BOP down the road, i'm reading the objectives and it sounds really challenging.
"The rotation will confront the student with questions of professional ethics and law. The student will prepare, draft and defend proposed administrative regulations and statutes. The rotation will expose the student to principles of confidentiality and due process of law. The student will participate in public meetings of the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

The rotation will provide an opportunity for the student to become familiar with other regulatory agencies in the Commonwealth and Federal agencies with concurrent jurisdiction. The student will be provided with an opportunity to interact with those agencies."

:scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared: ----- This is me right now.

Anyone had a rotation like this before? Are they really that horrible ?

I worked with a couple interns that had board rotations...they said it was pretty boring for the most part but overall a super easy rotation.

really the only difficult rotations are acute care. But thats really where you will learn the most. The board rotation might help with the law portion...so definitely ask questions about the best resources. MPJE is more difficult than the naplex.

You were all right, it turned out to be the MMMOOOTSSTTTTT awesome rotation in the world!! I ended up getting so much out of it, including a glowing reference of the board executive director, but you do have to work hard for it tho, but i feel like it's a lot more rewarding for your hard work compared to some other rotations and preceptors.
