Now that most of the step 1 takers have had their fun, its our turn. I was wondering, as many ms-4's are right now, about what are the good resources for passing step 2. I have boards and wards, which seems succinct but very fact-dense. Is it common for people to rely on that plus qbank as their sole studying source? Do I absolutely need to mix in crush the boards or prescription (I've heard both of those are excellent as well), or does boards and wards cover enough factual info to walk away with a big fat "P". Any help appreciated.

Aside from Q-Bank, the books you are naming are essentially the same material presented in a different format. What I did was look at all of them and decide what style I liked best.

I personally went with (some) Blueprints, Crush the boards, A&L Questions book, and Q-Bank as my major resources and took about 3 weeks off and then 4 weeks during rotatiosn to study.

I think with a good solid fact book, bunch of questions (Q-bankoid) and refernce texts you should be well on your way to the fat "P."

Good luck
