Recently, my caseload has a lot of veterans with childhood trauma and I'm seeing more women. A few of them love to read.
One book that has been helpful for past veterans I've worked with are Farewell, Darkness: A Veteran's Triumph over Combat Trauma. But I'm not sure if there are any other books I'm missing that I could recommend to them and may speak more to childhood trauma? Also, I now have some female veterans I'm working with and am wondering if there may be books that touch specifically on the female veteran experience?
Thanks!
