Would you expect urea levels to slightly increase in an elderly male with BPH who is showing signs of nocturia?

Depends. If it's bad enough to cause hydronephrosis and kidney damage, BUN/Cr would be elevated in a pattern consistent with intrinsic renal damage. If it is not enough to damage the kidney, you can get a pre-renal-esque pattern elevation to BUN/Cr. If it is mild, then you won't see any elevation.
