Brand new FM program - Kaiser Santa Rosa

Just received an II at Kaiser Santa Rosa.
I am wondering what are people's thoughts on brand new residencies? Yay or nay?
Some things I am worried about - being the 'guinea pigs' in terms of establishing a new program with only 6 residents and having no senior residents to offer help/guidance. I am relieved about the fact that they are part of Kaiser Permanente, which already has many established residency programs within their system...

Having seniors to guide me is really important to me so I'm leery of brand new programs. Personally I didn't apply to any of the new KP programs for that reason. But KP has such a strong network and a good framework to build from; I feel like they must have some system in place to cover for that. Interested in hearing what other people think of this as well.
