I know that Brown has limited number of spots for the standard MD route.
How selective is it, really?
Elite tier (as hard as it gets)?

Why? It's a legitimate question. You can't assume anything about a med school based on it's undergraduate reputation.

OP- It's competitive, but not ridiculously so. Their average GPA is 3.6., avergage MCAT is 33. Overall their average acceptance rate is 4.3%.

If you're from Rhode Island, their acceptance rate is about 14%, but I don't know how accurate that really is since there are so few applicants each year.

So overall it's pretty competitive, but not too bad. It's about on par with a UC for a California applicant. Sigh...
