"This past year, for the first time in almost 20 years, Brown Medical School began accepting applications from qualified graduates of any college or university, through the standard route of admission. This fall, 11 matriculants from the new standard route joined the MD Class of 2009."
So the belief is about 15 for next year. The 55-60 other enrolled students will come from the like 5 other routes.
Brown's stats for last year:
For the class entering Fall 2005: 4,324 applied; 184 accepted; 73 enrolled
actually, i think its a bit more this year... i can't remember the exact number but it may be closer to 30 (who are admitted through the traditional AMCAS track instead of the straight undergrad-->med school program or one of the direct post-bach-->med school paths)

I think 200-300 students...but thats just based on what I've heard, not what they actually said. You can try to calculate it if you want, they interview about 18-20 students every Thursday between Nov. and Feb. with a couple weeks off for holidays probably.
At the end of the interview day, the dean told us they are planning on interviewing about 240 students for 15-20 spots. They plan on having an accept to matriculate ratio of about 4:1. So they will be accepting up to 80 people. When I interviewed last week they said they had already admitted 38 people. They plan on slowly increasing the number of standard route applicants in the next two years so that it's a 50-50 split between the PLME sdudents and the rest. The dean also seemed pretty laid back about accepting people right now.
