Brown requirements

Does anyone know if they let you sub. anything for the biochem requirement? I have an extra orgo and bio course but no biochem.

If they don't specify on their website whether they take substitute classes, they probably don't. I am not an expert on this, though...just my two cents.

I recall reading something on the Brown secondary that said "if you've taken other employment, individual work etc that substitutes for the requirement, attach a sheet and explain".

So they could be open to your substituting something else.

I would call them and ask.

I called some schools because I did not have their required things, i.e. non-science letter of req, and the requirements are not "set in stone" when you tell them about your situation.
