BU Dental school or Howard Dental school ?

hello guys, i really need your advice and help. i just got accepted at Howard dental school and i have an interview at BU dental school in jan. if i get accepted into BU which school i should pick? i am not concerning that much on the tution thing of BU i know it is expensive, i just want to get a good eduacation. which is better ?

First off is your interview after the commitment date for Howard? If so, are you even willing to hold a seat and pay the money to hold it before interviewing at another school.

But what do you value? You said money isn't a factor, but is Weather? Colder in Boston than DC. What are your thoughts on HBCU vs PWI (prodominantly white institution). APEX at BU (their externship option) is fabulous and one of a kind in comparison to any dental school. Does Howard offer externships? Does that even matter to you?

Are you trying to specialize? BU might place better into specialties, but some specialties may recruit directly at Howard for minorities.

I didn't apply to Howard but did get into BU and loved my interview there and know a few Howard Dental grads. I think you'll get great educations at either, but its more about answering some of those questions for yourself.

No one on SDN knows you here, so think about your personal response to the things you value.

thank you so much for reply and for your time. i am from ohio and i am used to the cold weather so i will be fine i guess lol. howard dental school doesnt have any externship. i heared about APEX and i think it is a great program. i want to specialise. my concern is, is BU better according to clinical experience, which school would make me really ready for the real word after graduation ?
