Dear Sirs, I am Father of young budding dentist with BDS from India and persuing MPH in western Kentaky univercity. Completed 2 semesters, final is likley to be over by March 2011.
I also appeard for NBDE and got 80 in the first attempt and improved to 88 in the second attempt during Aug 2010.
At the outset there are this four questions at the top of my head , for which I humbly seek info from this well informed august forum :
1. what is the probability of my getting admission to DDS or to any other dental career ?
2. The cost of DDS in US appears to be mind bogling, it seems to be of 150 - 200 thousand us dollers in two years. is it advisible to persue at this cost ? which is equalent to Rs one crore in India.
3 What is the probability of getting suitable job after completion of DDS ?
4. How long will it take to repay the loan assuming the full cost of DDs is met from loan availed in US or india?
