got my first, via snail mail, yesterday. not surprising, after the 'final decision rendered' status popped up on my page a few days ago. fellow rejects, let's commiserate!

They usually have the same three essays, so, I read over this year's secondary really quickly and just printed out last year's essays are sent it out. But on closer observation...one of the essays had been changed. If they still bother to give me an interview after that, there will be a hilarious topic to speak of and if not, I'll know just one of the reasons I got rejected.
Personally, I am hoping that since Stony is one of the better SUNYs, they'll be like "What the Dickens! this applicant didn't even bother to write the correct essay for our prestigious application for our prestigious school. Why it almost seems this young man doesn't give a flippity **** about our school, that must mean he's in high demand at other schools...we must interview him at once...nay...let's accept him". And then they ask a secretary named Prudence to send me an invitation.
