I was completely at UBuffalo since 9/1 and today the status page changed. It says "Final Decision Rendered." Since they e-mail for interview, should I assume that this is a rejection that's coming via snail mail? 🙁

Apparition, my status page says the same. I don't know what to make of this other than the inevitable rejection. I'm gonna call later on to see if I can get some info regarding this.

On Hold at my first choice and an ambiguous decision rendered at my second choice, wow....this is like an exact reflection of what happened last year.

I just called them. They said I have to wait for the letter which is going out today. I asked whether it would come by e-mail if it were an interview invitation and she said yes. Pretty clear I guess...

It's 11:30 AM on a Monday and already I am feeling depressed and suicidal (usually happens on a Friday). I spoke to an advisor from Upstate, she was very helpful but from her feedback, it's gonna be tough getting anything from Upstate for me.

At any rate, Apparition thanks for the info on UB, saved my regional phone charge.

I believe that "Final Decision Rendered" was a euphemism for a rejection last year. I imagine it's the same this year.

I got moved into the intermediate pool- oh well, I already had interviews at the other SUNYs a month ago... shows how admissions is a crapshoot

My status says "Intermediate- Lettered" and I got an email from the admissions office about it.

I too got an email from the admissions office and I was placed in the intermediate pool. It says "intermediate/lettered" now when i check the status page. Unfortunetly, it appears that the "decision rendered" status update is a rejection.
