Dear Ed,

The Pell versus consolidation loan rates story isn't zero sum, and it shouldn't be "versus." Where do you think that $1.3 billion deficit came from? And the big ass total budget deficit? Uhh, rhymes with "military spending orgy" and "tax cut."
