To be honest Jess, I think Bush in office would be better for medicine as a whole, for one simple reason. John Edwards is a malpractice attorney with approximately 184 million dollars in trial victories! :scared:

Well according to many posts about podiatry on SDN - we are all paupers and have to work many jobs (even waiting tables) just to pay our bills. If that is true, we should all vote for Kerry, so we could qualify for food stamps and housing subsidies, etc.

Then according to other posts, you will be the richest doctor in the country, grossing 1.5 mil in some practices. Then you should vote for Bush to keep the upper tax brackets below 40%.

(note my sarcasm)

bush is better for docs in my opinion

There are a ton of threads on this subject in the "Everyone" forum. I don't think podiatrists would be particularly different than other health care providers.

i thought you left and started your own website because podiatry is unique and wasn't being represented enough here. dont you have your own "Everyone" forum.

podiatry is unique because podiatry made its initial gains through military hospitals and medicare and relies heavily on medicare as a last bastion (especially nursing homes). i feel privitization will kill podiatry and will harm the public.

so Sher9, howz the website comin? you seem to have trolled here.

Sher9, Bush or Kerry? can you answer the question?

What waz the la 😕 st name you used on this website?

Those weren't my reasons for starting it and I was hardly a troll here. I was a prospective student (like you claim to be) who was disappointed after touring the #1 pod school and I don't really care if anyone dislikes me for it, I'm just glad I didn't sink 100k into it.

I will be voting for Bush, but not because of anything to do with healthcare. I am an avid handgun shooter (hence the 9mm after my name) and I place my vote against gun control.

Bush is the best choice for doctors since he supports a 250k malpractice lawsuit cap. Kerry is a malpractice lawyer (for the plaintiff) and has made jurors cry with his closing arguments. He has made his money off of ruining physicians lives and indirectly increasing the cost of (everyone's) malpractice insurance.

Btw, you have a serious attitude problem. You are the one parading around in threads saying podiatry school wants anyone who can get a loan and how you don't want to be surrounded by "marginal minds."

It seems to be your trend is to make a biting statement, then follow it up with something trying to convince others they are the problem to counter it. This post is a good example:

(Biting Comment) are you aware that in many states you are not allowed to work on ankles? so you may have been better off going to medical school(oh wait, they dont take 88% of applicants) becoming and orthopod so you can literally practice what you preach.

(Counter Comment) why are you so bitter? this is a forum for ideas, thoughts, exchange.contribute something, anything!

You're bipolar when it comes to podiatry.
