These are my grades for pre-reqs and relevant courses

Chem I- A
Chem II - B
Orgo I - A
Orgo II - A
Genetics - A
Physics I - C
Physics II - A
Cal I - A
Cal II- A
Cal III - A

What I am concerned over is how bad does that C in physics I look. I got careless and did not study as much I should, had I had done that I would have had an A in Physics I too. My cGPA with the C is about a 3.82?

Should I retake?

Your GPA is 3.8...

There's absolutely no point in retaking imo, especially since you got an A is physics II.

No. You have an A in physics 2. That proves to me you know physics.

Should I retake?

No! One bad grade won't matter... Besides you got an A in Physics II and that will offset the C you got before.

3.7 sGPA 3.82 cGPA lol you're fine

time to start MCAT prep

bio courses?

No one will tell you to retake it. Retaking it would be dumb. One bad grade is not going to kill anyone's application. /thread

I would not retake and would not be shy to apply to top schools either.

You have excellent grades overall. A good MCAT score could erase any doubt.

I attend a university with a top 10 associated med school. Adcoms always tell us that one C is fine as long as it is a one time thing. Looks like for you it is. Really, don't worry about it.

What about 2 Cs?
