For those who did a residency outside of California and applied for an Osteopathic Medical License...did you do the Live Scan fingerprinting or did you send in fingerprinting cards? In order to expedite things, I'm thinking of flying out to CA to do the Live Scan (results take days with Live Scan compared to supposedly 16 weeks for fingerprinting), but this technicality in their language has me worried...

So can applicants residing outside of CA use the Live Scan instead? I know people have done it for the MD CA license. I tried contacting the office but they're not getting back to me via email or phone ;(
