California MCAT check

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I haven't received my scores yet. I live in Northern California.

Even if you're NOT applying this year, you can create an account on the AMCAS site. Enter in your personal info (including SSN), click on the print preview option, and your scores will show up there instantaneously.

VirtuoJ (and everyone else in CA w/o scores)

Just got my mail for today (Saturday) and still no MCAT scores. Did anyone get scores today?

Maybe Monday....

If we didnt release our scores to AMCAS, would it still be on the application? Or if we didnt apply this year

No to the first question. As for the second question, how could it be on the application if you didn't apply this year? You wouldn't have an application for it to be on. You could however, do what VC15 recommended up above and start an application, in which case your scores will show up -- but only if you released them to AMCAS.

I have not yet recieved my MCAT scores in the mail, but I took VC15's advice and created an account on AMCAS even though I am not applying until June of 2002. I released my scores to AMCAS and clicked on the print option and my scores appeared. This worked! Woohoo! I hit my target score so it looks like I don't have to take it in April. I am really excited, but I still want it to come in the mail. Thanks everyone for your advice.
