California Pocket License versus Wall Certificate

For those of you licensed in California, what is actual proof of licensure? After passing my exams, I only received the pocket license. Since then I got a job, and the job requirement is showing 'original documentation proof of licensure'. Wondering if the pocket license is California's official license. Is it normal to only receive the pocket license? Or should I have received a wall certificate as well?

the wall one will come later. mine came like 6+ months later. Your pocket license is the proof of licensure.
