VCOM invites proposals for posters for the 2025 VCOM National Rural Medicine Conference, March 7-9, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is a great opportunity for students to present their research related to rural health on a national stage!

Abstract Submission Deadline: September 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST

Abstracts must have a rural health focus and align with one of the following topic areas:

• Best Practices: Best Practices for Rural and Medically Underserved Patient Care, Emphasizing the Appalachian and Mississippi Delta Regions of the U.S.

• Research: Current Research Related to Rural Health Issues and Rural Medicine

• Regulatory: Regulatory Aspects and Medical Challenges Associated with Sponsoring and Managing Medical Clinics in Third World Countries and Immigrant/Migrant Care in Rural Settings

• Practice Challenges: Practice Challenges in Rural Areas and Creative Solutions to Improving Physician Satisfaction

• Technologies: Innovative Technologies and Services to Improve Patient Access and Patient Care in Rural Settings

• Education: Approaches to Educating and Training Medical Students and Residents for Rural Primary Care
