calling Rochester?

I have been complete at Rochester since the end of August and still have not heard anything from them. I really want to call them and check the status of my app, but my complete email from them says that I should not call but instead check the status of my app online. Has anyone called Rochester for status checks? Thanks!

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but I was complete at Rochester at the beginning of August, and got an interview just last week, so they're definitely still reviewing the really old complete applications. When you call the office, however, the first thing you hear is a recorded message telling you to check online if you want a status check, so they don't seem too amenable to checking via phone.

I was complete by August too. Hang in there, I called about two weeks ago, and was told that they won't be done reviewing until the end of feb. Good luck

Funny I just called them earlier today. After listening to that 5 minute long message about how we REALLY shouldn't call about status checks, i stayed on the line.
hlady was so irritated with me but I've been waiting FOREVER! since like JULY! So I asked her if there was something wrong with my app since I had been complete so early and hadn't heard back. She's like, well we review them RANDOMLY and emphasized how random the whole thing is. So I don't know if my file hasn't been pulled up. She's like I can check that you're complete if you want, but I already know it's complete from the website. so I don't know what that means. She also said that they'll be reviewing files until the end of Feb.
But it doesn't make sense that it's random! I mean what they put them all in a pile and randomly pick a file. What, has my file not been pulled up yet. What if it doesnt get picked up. I mean it's only logical that we all get a fair chance since we paid the money. Seriously it's been since July!! AHH!
