Can an American MD work in Greece?

Yassas, I am an American MD doing an Ophthalmology fellowship. I am exploring the possibility of going to work in Greece to join the woman I was dating, who returned to Athens. What are the requirements to be eligible for practice-- DOATAP, etc? And is it possible for me to find work as an ophthalmologist or general practitioner? I would appreciate all information given. Thanks.
