Can anyone explain why the TPR P/S class schedule works backward?

So i'm not enrolled in the class but managed to get a copy of the class schedule, and I noticed that for the psych/soc section, they have you start with Ch. 8 in the book and then work your way back. Does anyone know if there's a specific reason for this? It's the only section that's like that too.

The P/S book goes from neuroscience and neuroanatomy through psychology and then to sociology. I bet they are trying to line up the neuroscience with the neurobiology in bio, which is close to the end of the course.

If you are self-studying, I'd recommend following the layout of the book. I self-studied from this book and liked the organization of moving from the cellular level to organ level to individual level to population level. I think it's also interesting to see the gaps in between these levels/fields.
