Can anyone give me an advice?

Hi. Folks. I really wish whoever applied to Pharmacy school, you'll have good news. 🙂

ACtually, I have some questions. I'm in community college right now, and I took most pre-req courses. However, my overall GPA is 3.5 with elective courses. ( Because I have ONE F!! on history class.), but my all science and math classes have A which is 4.0 GPA only for pre-req coureses.

I haven't took PCAT yet. I'm thinking I'll try to apply Albany in new yourk, university in philadelpia, St john's, temple, and long island.

Are those schools really hard to get in? 🙁 Do they look overall GPa? ( Which i have all A's in pre-req.)

Also, I have served 4 years in U.S.Army as an active duty a position of patient administration. Does it really helpful? Or anyone was in U.S.Armed forces before and got in to Pharm D?? 😕

Please help me out~~~ Since my parents were pharmacist, I really wisht to wanna be....

What can be cut line % of PCAT? Is it good if I can get above than 90%?

Hi Knight. From what I ahve heard those universities you mentioned are really hard to get into if you are a transfer student. Your GPA is def. solid, just take that history class again (if you havent) On PCAt if you get above 90% your chances of getting in are very high. I would consider applying to some easier schools as well like mass, northeastern etc. 👍

Don't run with scissors.

From what I know, University of the Sciences and St Johns accepts only a few if any transfers. Both offer 6 year entry-level programs. Temple and LIJ are also both tough programs to get into. Study hard for the PCAT and attend their open houses. Good luck!
