Hi,

2 questions to post:

1. For those very fortunate people who are called off the list right before classes, what are the housing options? Are you on your own, are there dorms? apartments near by? Will someone help you out on this??

2 Also, Does anyone have any updates on the waitlist? Any movement?

On another note, congrats on your acceptance to rochester! Lots of luck there!

To answer your first question:

You will get some help from the housing folks at your school. But if there are dorms available but are filled, obviously nothing can be done. Depending on the niceness of your school, you may be able to temporarily live with another student(most lokey those who serve as student hosts) until you can get your own housing. My advice: if you are on the waitlist, look for apartments anyway incase you get pulled off. If you haven't heard from a school yet, you may not hear until pretty late in the summer so it will be really hard to get an apartment then. Look for one now.
