Can anyone recommend a good book or site?

Hi,
I have been reading up this site for financial topics. I do have a better idea about how to pay for school. Can anyone recommend a good book or site geared to helping one understand everything about loans (types) all the way to basic principles of borrowing money. I am not too familiar with what compounded interests are. I really want to educate myself in this area so I don't get messed up making a bad decision on choosing loans.
