I found an answer about the ERAS, which was, no programs cannot view where else you've applied.

Anyone have an idea about SF match? I emailed them and waiting to hear back.

    Thank you in advance!

Some programs will ask you where else you are interviewing. FYI

This is really shady but absolutely true. Most programs know you will be applying broadly, but number of interviews and where you are interviewing is far more important. I'm not sure if there are rules against this but I was certainly asked at a few places where else I was interviewing. Very awkward to say the least.

yes, but if you know you are interviewing at a mid-tier program don't only list off your top-tier programs (when asked). I've been asked for specifics- I stated a few programs in the same region as well as outside the region, most from the same tier, one above but none from a lower tier.

Having been on selection committee at my program many ions ago, I can confidently tell you that most top program PD know each other and communicate with one another. They do share which applicants are placed where on their rank lists.

Not only that but they sometimes have false memories. A faculty member told me about this where there was confusion and an applicant was falsely accused of being bad because of mistaken identity.

Also programs can, if they want, figure out how many programs you applied. Most probably don't bother but it can be done.
