I can’t seem to find much information on AMEDD and medical school. I’m wondering if it would be a good route to go if I don’t get the HPSP.
Do they pay for all of medical school?
Will I be required to do a weekend a month while in medical school?

Thanks for any advice!

AMEDD is an organization, not a program to pay for medical school.

There are three routes to have the military pay for your training

USUHS (military medical school)
HPSP
Loan repayment after you’ve completed your residency

The Guard and Reserve (Army more so than other branches) will also pay you a fixed amount that will cover some amount of medical school under their own programs (MDSSP, STRAP). It sounds like that's what you're asking about. There are plenty of posts here describing how those programs work, it shouldn't be too hard to find them now with the right program names.
