1. ISP - no, not internet service provide but rather in the context of, I would have went to school X if it wasn't for ISP.
2. PBL - context: Is school X PBL based?

Um...PBL is Problem Based Learning, I'm pretty sure.
 
PBL: problem-based learning

It's what it sounds like...do a search and you'll find all sorts of good stuff on PBL. People tend to have a love/hate relationship with it.

PBL = problem based learning, a style of learning medicine whereby people meet in small groups and learn anatomy, physiology, pathology, etc through discussion of a case study.

ISP probably means in state preference, the school prefers to take people from their state.
