Hi people, fresh out of med school, wanna take the boards next year, just wondering if I could get a list of OBGYN programmes that are img friendly.
What kinda scores should I be aiming for?
What are my chances of getting in programmes with little to no research work?
How long are OBGYN programmes?
Is it very competitive in the states?
When is the best time of year to take the exam as an img?
Who do I send results and cv too?
How do I get matched?
Thanks people.

What kinda scores should I be aiming for? As high as you could.

Is it very competitive in the states? Moderately competitive.

Who do I send results and cv too? & How do I get matched? Refer to ERAS and NRMP please.

Hi people, fresh out of med school, wanna take the boards next year, just wondering if I could get a list of OBGYN programmes that are img friendly.
We don't have a list specific to Ob-Gyn.

What kinda scores should I be aiming for?
As noted above, you should get the very best score you can, regardless of the field you are applying to.

What are my chances of getting in programmes with little to no research work?
Research is not essential for matching in Ob-Gyn. Most students have none.

How long are OBGYN programmes?
Google is your friend, but here you go: http://residency.wustl.edu/medadmin/resweb.nsf/0ee53e934810efcd86256a94005e5f7d/3edd4e91945f8a2b86256f850071ae49?OpenDocument

Is it very competitive in the states?
Moderately so at most programs.

When is the best time of year to take the exam as an img?
Since some programs require ECFMG certification to interview, you should have all your exams done by September of the year you are applying. No program will interview you without at least Step 1 done by then.

Who do I send results and cv too?
How do I get matched?
Thanks people.
