I was going through AAMC 8 and I noticed that a couple of the questions had 2 answers, and the explanations tended to pick one over the other but one of them definitely had 2 answers and either one was correct. Would the real MCAT have this scenario?

Edited: realized I probably shouldn't mention AAMC questions.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that it is possible that you a) misread the question or b) misunderstood the passage or the concept behind the answer to that question. I am pretty sure AAMC works hard to create (especially for the sciences) only one correct answer per question.

I thought that was what I might have done, but when I went back to review it basically highlighted two answers and said either could be the correct answer.

I guess whether, it's an error or whatever, I CAN assume that the real MCAT will have only ONE correct answer, no matter what?
