I have my MD from a caribbean school and have passed all 3 USMLE steps. I'm interested in doing my residency outide of the US in an english speaking country like UK, Ireland, Australia. I'm sure this is possible but where do I find info on the process? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

I followed the links that you posted for the Irish medical council and it mentioned that South Africans can get full qualification recognition in Ireland. Does this still apply currently and do I still need to write entrance exams etc? (btw, I'm a SA med student and very interessted in working in Ireland). It would be great if I could get acknowledgement for my degree...

Thanx
