Hi folks,

I recently got a rejection from my top choice school post-interview and am wondering whether any of you know whether it is possible to appeal a post-interview rejection. I know it is often possible to do this post-secondary, but I want to know if anyone has any experience or advice on post-interview rejection petitions.

Thanks.

i have the same question!

Hi guys...

I don't know the answer but I think if you write a good LOI or even call the admissions office to let them know what went wrong in your file... and if it is possible for the adcom to re-look at your file... then I think you can have a shot to re-open your file...

I guess you should try it out to see if it will work for you... :luck:

Does anybody have firsthand experience or know someone who was successful and what they did to get the job done? Any input appreciated.

Many schools provide a "Rules and Regulations" sort of thing with their secondary apps. If you got one of these from this school, look for language like "all decisions are final". If there isn't anything in there, or you weren't provided with anything of the sort, go for it.

Even if you do, try it anyway. What's the worst that could happen, that they could say no again? You don't have anything to lose, aside from postage. Perhaps it might come into play if you apply there again next year, but I doubt that it would reflect upon you negatively.

Good luck.
