I am a student at LECOM's pharmacy school and all I can say is that the accreditation process so far is where it should be expected. For new schools, the are granted pre candidate status. A site visit is scheduled for next spring in which it will be decided if the school can advance to the next step, which is candidate status or something like that. And final accreditation can only occur after the first class has graduated. A school does not have to have final accreditation for its graduates to be employed.
From what I can tell, the school shouldn't have much problems getting accredited. The school has done everything first class and is going to do everything needed to get accredited.
I was worried about the process also until I visited the school and was very impressed with what I saw. I have no worries now.....
