Can you contact programs now?

Now that rank lists are in, wouldn't it be okay in terms of NRMP rules and what not to contact programs that you ranked to try to see what your chances are of matching there? At this point, it would seem like there wouldn't be any reason to keep things secret. Has anybody here done that or know if programs are a bit more liberal with their rank lists now?

Interesting thought, but it also seems like there is little reason to do any speculation with programs at this point. Whats done is done.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess it would just be to see if you could get any information ahead of time. Y'know, for those eager beavers.
