Hello!

I have a bit of a problem with my tongue.. I will post pictures below.

My symptoms: Sensitive/burning tongue around the edges, lump on bottom/underneath tongue on one side that is painful to compress/touch. All around tingling and weird feeling tongue. My tongue has felt weird/dry/tingly for a few months now but with no pain or sensitivity.

About me: 23/M Heavy Smoker - Sometimes forget to brush my teeth - Usually brush most mornings.

What do you guys think? Should I see a dentist or can it be treated at home?

Thanks!

Sounds like common symptoms you'd get from excessive smoking. I wouldn't recommend doing any in-home treatments... go see a dentist or an ENT physician for proper care.

This is probably one of the more detailed medical advice threads. Unfortunately the forums isn't the place for it. Please consult with your dentist/physician with any concerns you might have. Closing thread.
