Can you recommend a good way to get started learning Stata and R?

I would like to learn Stata and R in advance before taking BioStatistics. Does anyone know of a good video tutorial or similar online?

There are some good courses from Hopkins on Coursera which walk you through stats in R. Not sure if there's something similar for Stata, but Stata is straightforward enough and has adequate documentation so it shouldn't be hard for you to figure it out yourself as you go. The UCLA IDRE website is always clutch as well (Data Analysis Examples - IDRE Stats).
