CAN YOU RECOMMEND BOOKS?

HEY ALL,
i need some advise on what books to sudy for USMLE STEP 1 for physiology and pathology...i need something that covers all the topics highlighting relevant facts and yet is conscise...and i dont mean review books..something like Microbiology made ridiculously simple maybe? please help....i can't figure out which books i need...

also are the pictures on the WEB PATH website the same as the ones on the CD they sell for $60 or does the CD have more slides/pictures?

Physiology: I think most people just read First Aid or Step-Up for this.

Pathology: Everyone here uses BRS Pathology (2nd edition just came out). It is really good.

That WebPath CD is just their entire website on a CD. (i.e. if you dial up on a modem, I can see why it would be nice to have the CD) While I think the pictures are valuable, I'm not sure how much USMLE high-yield stuff would be in that CD.
