I'm taking alot of upper level sciences this upcoming fall and I was wondering if doing really well in those classes could have much bearing if I send them in an update letter to the schools I'm applying to. Anyone think they look hard at these grades?

they might not care too much during the application cycle, but I always think it's a good idea to approach them as if you're going to be reapplying the next year. you never know what's going to happen.

I agree with this. Don't slack off your senior year, if it helps or not. If you do need to apply again, it'll give you better stats even if it doesn't help during the current cycle.
