Canadian and PGY-1 applicants to ophthalmology

1. Do Canadians fare a similar chance to US applicants to ophthalmology?

2. If not, how much difference is there and how do Canadians fare compared to FMG's (even though technically Canadians are FMG's, just north of the border)?

3. And lastly, how do PGY-1's compare to regular 4th year med students applying? Do PGY-1's have the same or worse chance?
