Hey Guys

Here is my situation.

CGPA: 3.58
SGPA:3.5~
MCAT: 30R balanced

2 Years of research, 1 publication on review (not first author)
3 years of volunteering in different hospital clinics
2 weeks of shadowing family doc
various leadership (school society etc)

Do I have any shot at US MD programs?

Yes, absolutely. You have a strong GPA, ECs and have made it to the 30 MCAT threshold. Just pick up a copy of the MSAR to find out which schools fit you application best.

The only issue is some schools only accept US/Canadian citizens and US perm. residents, while others only accept US citizens and US perm residents. If you aren't a US perm. resident, that will be a problem.
 
if you aren't a US citizen, its tough for us to call it.
