Hey everyone!! I'm a canadian applying for US med schools. Can anyone gimme some advice and things i should be concerned with? Thanks alot!!

It's weird but your chances might be actually better in the States than in Canada (especially if you're from Ontario). Finish you AMCAS application and submit early. That means working on the Essays right now. Start looking for profs to right letters of recommendations now! You can usually find instructions for letters of recommendation on the websites of the schools. Get the profs to start writing them now so that you can submit them with your AMCAS application. Some schools have their secondaries on their websites. Fill those out soon as you're done with AMCAS. If you've already taken your MCAT and you do these things, you be complete early and this increases your chances of getting interveiws (admission is rolling in most US schools). If you're taking August MCAT the above still helps since you'll be complete as soon as the MCAT results come out.
Set aside some money. It costs a lot to fly over the border for interveiws and the exchange rate doesn't help any. Hope that helps.
