Hi,
I would like to apply to medical school in the US but I have a couple of questions.
1) I am a Canadian citizen and would like to apply to US medical schools (mainly in the New York area, since my wife ahas recently recieving a job offer in New York). I realize it is harder for international students to gain admission, does this apply to Canadian citizens as well? Is it easier for Canadians than other international students? Does it matter that I plan to stay in the US after finishing medical school?
2) I am completing a Ph.D. in mechanincal engineering. Will this in anyway help with admission into medical school? Does it give me any edge over other applicants?
Thanks for the help.
