Canadian Degree but US Citizen

how does being a US citizen tie into your question?... i'm guessing you want to practice in USA and/or get in-state tuition? probably the former i'm thinking, but the latter would be nice?

there are so many schools to choose from?........ i'm thinking schools like windsor, brandon, UQTR and lakehead might be an impediment to top US and Canadian schools, but there are so many other schools to choose from. do you want to go to top 25% medical school?. i saw quote from doctor saying he's never heard a patient ask where a doctor went to school............. sorry to malign those schools. not sure brandon has hockey either

i've thought about your situation more.

i guess a key question is how are canadian random universities compared to USA random universities?

the united states has an endless number of universities/colleges (maybe because of the many faith-based private colleges?)..... i'm always shocked at how many college basketball teams there are down there beyond the 330 or so that are eligible for march madness.. like simon fraser has played notre de namur, academy of arts and south dakota school of mines in recent years.

i think almost all canadian uni's are public, maybe all..... i think there's a big drop-off from the top two or three, then the next 5 or so (almost all big cities except queen's) and then many of the rest are roughly equal and i would think fairly good. but not usa med school people would know that. they really should.

sorry, that might not have that helpful........... my point is that the united states has an extraordinary number of uni/colleges so maybe random public candian school won't be penalized that badly
