Hi, i am going to apply for optometry school for the following year. I have a cumulative gpa of around 3.46 and OAT scores of 390 on TS and 370 on AA. I was wondering if Canadians are looked at differently when they apply to american optometry schools and if there is a limit of another of Canadians each schools take?

Additionally, I have a question of how to calculate the GPA?
based on my school:
90+ is 4.0
85-59 is 3.9
80-84 is 3.7
77-79 is 3.3
73-76 is 3.0
70-72 is 2.7
When i averaged all my courses GPA together i get 3.5. but when i take each half course as 1 and a full year course worth 2. i get 3.46.

3.46 vs. 3.5? Doesn't even matter with those OATs.
