How am I supposed to calculate my gpa.
For example if my marks are:
Biology- 82
Chemistry- 90
Calculus-74
Psychology-95
Physics-82
My GPA system works like this 85-100=4.0
80-84=3.7
77-79=3.3
74-76=3.0 etc
An "A" is 85-89, "A+" is 90-100, "A-" is 80-84
According to my system my GPA for the above marks is...(3.7+4.0+3.0+4.0+3.7)/5= 3.68
In our system a full course is one year, a half course is a semester or half a year(ie. from September to December) I've tried looking at the AADSAS system but I'm missing my decoder pin-geez no wonder it takes so long to submit your applications. lol . Any input is appreciated.

Here's how you'd calculate your marks...

Anything above 90% is an A+ and counts for a GPA of 4.33

But, A-, which is normally 3.7 at UofT, is actually 3.67 on the AADSAS application. A B+, on the other hand, is not 3.3, but 3.33.

You should be able to calculate the rest from there. Thus, if you have a lot of "minus" marks, your GPA becomes lower than if you had more "plus" marks.

Also, half courses are worth 3 credit hours, while full courses are considered 6 credit hours.

Hope this helps...
